Alpaca Experience

Come and meet our Alpaca Family and Friends!

We want everyone to be able to access and enjoy the countryside that we are lucky enough to call home and to experience the positive effects of nature and being with animals.

Our boys are fascinating animals, and we would like to give you the opportunity to come and meet, handle and learn about Alpacas.

We also have some very special sheep who enjoy walking, petting, love a selfie and along with our kunekune pigs can't wait to meet you!

We have a Tramper mobility scooter which is all-terrain and free of charge. This must be booked in advance adding your request during the booking process.

Be assured we give health and safety the highest priority.

Sorry dogs are not allowed, unfortunately, as much as we love dogs, Alpacas don’t, and we want to make sure they are having as much fun as you!

Why not  make your experience even better by treating yourselves to something from our Lite Bites Menu or enjoy one of our home made Cream Teas.

Things to take note…

Alpacas have unique personalities; they definitely have their own speed, and some days they don’t want to walk as far as others, so we respect this as the welfare of the animals is our utmost priority. Because of this, the walk time may vary on each visit. This is an experience, not a trek, but you will always have a fabulous time!

The weather can be unsuitable for the experience to go ahead if this is the case we may need to rearrange your visit. We do, however, walk in the rain.

Dogs are not allowed to come, unfortunately, as much as we love dogs, Alpacas don’t, and we want to make sure they are having as much fun as you!

Children under the age of 10 are allowed to walk an alpaca on their own at the managements discretion.
