Come and meet our Alpaca Family and Friends!

We want everyone to be able to access and enjoy the countryside that we are lucky enough to call home and to experience the positive effects of nature and being with animals.

Our boys are fascinating animals, and we would like to give you the opportunity to come and meet, handle and learn about Alpacas.

We also have some very special sheep who enjoy walking, petting, love a selfie and can't wait to meet you!

Be assured we give health and safety the highest priority and will take all necessary steps to ensure your experience is COVID-19 safe. In return, we ask that you do not attend if you have any symptoms or have been in contact withanyone showing symptoms of COVID-19.

Alpaca Experience

Upon arrival, you will have a short health & safety briefing included in the 90 minutes, after which you will spend a little time bonding with the alpacas feeling relaxed with one another; then, when we are all ready, off we will go!

The experience will take up to 2 hours over varied terrain, so please bring wellies or walking boots and waterproofs just in case. If it is really hot, hats and sunscreen would be advisable.

We will make our way up through the fields, and you will be able to ask questions and learn how truly fabulous they are! There will be plenty of opportunities for pictures, and the boys are real posers, so don’t forget your camera!

Once back at the farm, you can take part in feeding time and say your goodbyes.

Meet & Greet Experience

If you have younger children or you just don’t feel like walking, then this may be for you.

There will be a short health and safety briefing, then you will spend approx. 1 hour with the alpacas and the sheep. You can learn about our animals, pet them and hand-feed them. Minimum of 2, maximum of 6 people.

Our alpaca vouchers are a fabulous gift for anyone that loves the outdoors and wants to try something new! Vouchers can be posted out and are valid for 12 months.

Things to take note…

Alpacas have unique personalities; they definitely have their own speed, and some days they don’t want to walk as far as others, so we respect this as the welfare of the animals is our utmost priority. Because of this, the walk time may vary on each visit. This is an experience, not a trek, but you will always have a fabulous time!

The weather can be unsuitable for the experience to go ahead if this is the case we may need to rearrange your visit. We do, however, walk in the rain.

Dogs are not allowed to come, unfortunately, as much as we love dogs, Alpacas don’t, and we want to make sure they are having as much fun as you!

Children under the age of 10 are allowed to accompany a paying adult for £10pp, but cannot hold an alpaca on their own during the walk for safety reasons. Ages 10-16 may walk their own alpaca and are included in the package prices.

Children under the age of 3 are free.
